Procedural checks:
Check the nitrous bottle pressure first thing to give time in case the bottle needs to be warmed up. Optimum pressure: 950 psi. No less than 850, no more than 1050 psi.
Remove safety pins from parachute and fire extinguisher.
Check air pressure in the tires. 35 psi front, 8.5-8.75 rear.
Change out the spark plugs, if necessary.
     Drain catch cans.
In the staging lanes, check the nitrous bottle pressure.
Open the nitrous bottle and arm the datalog before cleaning the tires.
Purge and arm the nitrous system before staging.
End of run, close the nitrous bottle valve and disarm the nitrous system.
Turn off the datalog after returning to the pits.
Top off the fuel cell, and check the tire pressures.
Look over the engine for leaks, disconnected vacuum lines, belts, hoses, including the air intake hose.
Inspect the spark plugs, if necessary.
Check the datalog and make changes if necessary. Adjust the delay box if needed.
Run experimental programs with the nitrous system deactivated to check the a/f ratios.
At the end of the day, flush the main fuel system with gasoline, blow out
the nitrous system (fuel side) and the aux fuel system with compressed air.
